On the 27th inst., HARVEY BEAUREGARD, infant son of Wm. J. and Mary A. Fergusson, aged seven weeks.
Thus another flower has been plucked to bloom in a land of immortality. We know well how to appreciate the feelings of the absent father, who has been denied the pleasure of seeing the child, being in the army of the Potomac, fighting the battles of his country. But it should be a source of consolation to him to know that our Saviour has said:
           I take these little lambs, said he,
            And lay them in my breast;
          Protection they shall find in me,
            In me be ever blest.
The friends and acquaintances of the family are invited to attend his funeral on Saturday morning, March 1st, at 11 o'clock, at the residence of Mrs. Judith Smith, on Mechanicsville Turnpike, near Venable st.
